Timestamp

timestamp is a digital record of the occurrence of a particular event. A timestamp usually gives the date and time of day of the event, sometimes accurate to a small fraction of a second. 

Scuba uses Unix time (also known as POSIX time or epoch time) is the number of seconds since 00:00:00 UTC on January 1, 1970.
