Level 1 - Question 16 - WAU

Question

Build a Weekly Active User query (WAU) using number view. Build an Explore query that returns a count of unique user actors, that is filtered to all user actors. Staring 1 week ago to now.

Take Note:

Weekly Active Users or WAU is a very commonly used metric to track how many unique users are interacting with your product, website or business on a weekly basis. It is also very helpful to view this as a time view so you can observe long term trends in weekly active users. Using time options will allow you to determine the time window each dot on the line is calculated over, like we did in question 7. It is also helpful to include compare groups to see how weekly trends differ based on whatever actions you and your teams may have done.

Solution

Note: The numbers and result does not need to be an exact match as the data changes over time. The query construction is what is most important. See images below.
