Question

Build a query in Explore that will return a count of events that is filtered to all events and is starting at 7 days ago and ending now. Use the compare to option below starting and ending time that uses the offset of 7 days before. Use number view to visualize the result.

Take Note:

Once your query returns pay attention to the percentage count and time range that now populates beneath your count of events. When using a compare window you can choose to compare the results of your measure and starting/ending time to a different time window. This is especially helpful if you are looking for trends on a dashboard.

Solution

Note: The numbers and result does not need to be an exact match as the data changes over time. The query construction is what is most important. See images below.
